Chicago Blackhawks on lähettänyt hyökkääjä Joey Andersonin, 24, NHL:n siirtolistalle. Seura toivoo, että Anderson läpäisisi siirtolistan ja jatkaisi kauttaan AHL:ssä Rockford IceHogsin mukana kevään pudotuspeleissä.

Anderson kaupattiin siirtorajalla Toronto Maple Leafsista Blackhawksiin. Maple Leafs sai vaihtokaupassa Sam Laffertyn ja Jake McCaben, kun taas Blackhawksiin matkasi Andersonin ohella Pavel Gogolev, ehdollinen 1. kierroksen varaus (2025) ja 2. kierroksen varaus.

Anderson pelasi Maple Leafsin mukana NHL:ssä 14 ottelua tehopistein 2+1. 183-senttinen hyökkääjä kirjasi AHL:ssä 30 ottelussa tehot 14+13=27. Blackhawksissa mies on tehnyt 18 ottelussa tehopisteet 3+2.

Anderson voi hyvinkin suunnata tänään toiseen NHL-seuraan. Ainakin Maple Leafsin fanit ottaisivat entisen pelaajansa avosylin vastaan.

Sucks for him, I was really rooting for him to establish himself in Chicago, he's got all the tool to be an effective Top 6 forward on a rebuilding team or bottom 6 forward on a contender. If he goes unclaimed, I hope the Leafs bring him in an an AHL deal next season
