Buffalo Sabresin suomalaispuolustaja Rasmus Ristolaisen kausi on lähtenyt nihkeästi liikkeelle.

23-vuotiaan järkäleen otteet ovat ailahdelleet pahasti, eikä tehojakaan synny vaaditulla tavalla. Hänellä on kuuteen otteluun kasassa kolme syöttöpistettä.

Sabresin hovitoimittaja Mike Harrington olisi valmis vähentämään Ristolaisen vastuuta ja antamaan sitä 18-vuotiaalle megalupaukselle Rasmus Dahlinille.

– Heidän täytyy laittaa Dahlin ja Jeff Skinner ensimmäiseen ylivoimakoostumukseen sekä heivata Kyle Okposo ja Ristolainen pois sieltä ja alkaa tekemään maaleja. Heidän ylivoima on ollut 4/9 kolmessa voitetussa ottelussa, kun neljässä hävityssä pelissä 0/20. Tämä ei ole rakettitiedettä, Harrington tylytti.

How is buffalo still so bad... i don’t get it they have good players, i think? idk i don’t watch their games but i thought like Mittlestadt, Nylander, Dahlin would carry, obv Eichel does but why they losing so much?

And.. they keep giving Ristolainen, statistically one of the worst defenseman in the league since he entered it, 20+ minutes a game.

Ristolainen has gone from "I think he can develop into a number 1" to "he'll be better when he logs less minutes - he's all alone" and is now in "I'm not really sure he's any good" territory. Every pass this guy throws is in skates. Every. Single. Pass. #Sabres #SabresAfterDark
